Saskatoon murder victim identified as man from Mistawasis
Charlene Pechawis said her son was respectful to everyone he met and did not deserve what he got.
Darcy Pechawis, 49, was murdered in Saskatoon on March 14.
According to a statement from Saskatoon police, around 12:30 a.m., officers were called to the 900 Block of 22nd Street West. Pechawis was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Charlene told paNOW, as a result of his home being destroyed by a fire, her son was residing at the Salvation Army in Saskatoon. She said she spoke to him about an hour before the shooting.
