The Battlefords North Stars have announced a partnership with Innovation Federal Credit Union to launch a community initiative that will bring “exciting opportunities, memorable experiences and meaningful connections to local children and families.”

The Battlefords North Stars Kids Club, presented by Innovation Federal Credit Union, is a new season-long program for local youth and families.

The season-long program aims to strengthen the connection among young fans, families and the North Stars organization through interactive experiences on and off the ice. It reflects a shared commitment to youth development, community involvement, leadership, mentorship and family engagement in the Battlefords.

“At Innovation, we believe strong communities start with investing in youth,” said Emily Perehudoff, Innovation Federal Credit Union representative.

“We’re excited to partner with the Battlefords North Stars to help create experiences that encourage connection and community pride while bringing families together around the game they love.”

Members will receive a package that includes an official membership card, Kids Club lanyard, sticker pack, season schedule card and game attendance passport.

Members will also have access to special ticket prices, sponsor-provided welcome gifts and exclusive experiences during the season.

Kids in the program will also have opportunities to participate in:

  • Kids Club game nights
  • Exclusive member events
  • Behind-the-scenes team experiences
  • Player meet-and-greets
  • Community-focused activities and family events
  • Monthly engagement opportunities throughout the season

The game attendance passport is a key feature of the program, rewarding participation and encouraging youth to stay engaged throughout the season.

Members will be able to earn prizes, exclusive experiences and special recognition as they attend games and Kids Club activities.

“We really wanted the Kids Club to be more than just a membership. We wanted to create something that gives kids a reason to feel like they are truly part of the North Stars throughout the entire season,” said Isabel Smith, Office and Marketing Manager of the Battlefords North Stars.

“From coming to games and filling their passports, to meeting the players and getting opportunities to be involved on game days, we want these kids to make memories and build a connection with the team that stays with them.”

The inaugural season of the Kids Club will be limited to 250 members to help ensure a high-quality experience for participants and their families.
