Six charged after Lloydminster home invasion investigation

Six people have been charged following an investigation into a reported break and enter at a Lloydminster residence that police say also involved a kidnapping, robbery, assault with a weapon and forcible confinement.

Lloydminster RCMP initially received a report of a break and enter on Aug. 2. Of the six suspects identified, three have already been arrested.

Chase Michalski, 30, Breanna Kehijekonaham, 28, and Kyler Ackerman, 27, all of Lloydminster, have been charged with break and enter, kidnapping, forcible confinement, robbery and assault with a weapon.

The three were released on conditions and are scheduled to appear in Alberta Court of Justice in Lloydminster on Oct. 6.

Police have also charged James Blohm, 37, and Amber Eyben, 43, both of Vermilion River, Alta., and Avery Turner, 24, of Elk Point, Alta., with the same offences.

Warrants have been issued for the arrests of Blohm, Eyben and Turner.

RCMP are warning the public not to approach the three wanted individuals, as police say they may be in possession of a firearm.
