The event will run from Jan. 8 to 13 at the North Battleford Civic Centre.

In late November, it was announced that North Battleford’s very own Team Silvernagle, consisting of Skip Robyn Silvernagle of North Battleford, Third Stefanie Lawton of Saskatoon, Second Jessie Hunkin of Stony Plain, Alta., and Lead Kara Thevenot of Prince Albert will be competing.

Owned and operated by Sportsnet, the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling is an annual series comprised of seven curling tournaments, inviting the world’s best curlers to compete in Canada. It features 16 men’s and 16 women’s teams with a triple knockout format.
