RCMP rules out link between deaths and suspected hazardous drink

Battlefords RCMP have released an update on an investigation into a possible hazardous, consumable liquid beverage or substance circulating in the area.  

The investigation determined that the sudden deaths, which were initially believed to be related to this report, are not suspicious in nature. RCMP will not be sharing further details about these deaths to be mindful of the deceased.  

No further reports of sudden deaths or illness potentially related to a report of a hazardous beverage or liquid have been made to police at this time.  

The initial warning was issued out of concern after a report was made. RCMP welcomes reports of this nature to further access whether notification about potential dangers to the public is required. If there is any information to share, RCMP will do so.
