Man arrested for serious assault in Turtleford

Turtleford RCMP are conducting an investigation into a serious assault that occurred in Glaslyn early this morning, resulting in the arrest of an adult male.
Around 3:30 a.m., police responded to a call regarding the incident, which took place at a residence on the 200 block of 1st Avenue in Glaslyn. Officers and EMS located a victim at a nearby residence with serious injuries, who was transported to a local hospital and then Saskatoon for treatment. The victim’s condition is currently unknown.
The suspect was arrested by officers from the Saskatchewan RCMP Emergency Response Team without incident on Railway Avenue in Glaslyn. The officers were in the area on an unrelated matter, but assisted once they became aware of the incident.
No charges have been laid at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
