Michael Jordan White, the 32-year-old suspect wanted in relation to the homicide of Todd Stone, has been arrested.

Strathcona County RCMP in Alberta arrested White, who hails from Sweet Grass First Nation, without incident on July 8. Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit North traveled to Sherwood Park to handle transportation to North Battleford, where he was remanded in custody.

White is charged with second-degree murder in relation to an incident on May 12 that left 38-year-old Stone unconscious. Stone was declared deceased the following day and an autopsy revealed the death was the result of a homicide.

The warrant for White was issued May 13 and later extended to Canada-wide.
