North Battleford Acting Fire Chief receives provincial recognition
A North Battleford fireman has been recognized by the Saskatchewan government for his contribution to the province.
Acting Fire Chief Lindsay Holm received a Saskatchewan Protective Services Medal during a ceremony in Saskatoon on October 9. The award was presented to him by the Honourable Russ Mirasty, Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan.
The Saskatchewan Protective Services Medal recognizes exemplary service for individuals who provide protective services that ensure the safety, security, and protection of citizens in the province.
Holm started his career as an emergency medical technician in 1992. He worked with the bi-provincial upgrader and Lloydminster Ambulance. He also did some industrial work as an EMT at the Allan Potash mine.
