They opened ‘Mawson Saddlery Ltd.’ in 1978 and almost at once it became apparent there was a real need for saddle making as well as other custom items in and around the Battlefords. To this day, all their western saddles are made with an all leather ground seat and are rigged ready for the vigor of every day ranch life, with the prestige and class of riding a custom rig. As craftsmen, Austin’s Saddlery take pride in their work and stand behind any article stamped with the “Mawson Bros. Custom Maker” stamp.

The specialist at Austin’s Saddlery come from a long line of hard workers going all the way back to Great Great Grandpa John who was the first settler in Dundurn, SK. To this day, this long line of working cowboys are here to help you choose the right tack and clothing – to help you do everything you need to do and you want to do.
