Battlefords RCMP asking for public assistance in search for young woman

UPDATE: As of 10 a.m. on Aug. 8 RCMP have reported Cassidy Kiskotagan has been located safe.

Residents in the Battlefords are being asked to assist local RCMP in locating 17-year-old Cassidy Kiskotagan.

Originally from Red Pheasant First Nation, Kiskotagan is described as around 5’5” with a slight build, brown eyes and shoulder length, bright, pink hair (her natural hair colour is dark brown).

Police are concerned about her well-being as there are no confirmed sightings of her since July 9. Based Kiskotagan’s recent activity on social media, it’s believed that she may be in the Saskatoon area. However, the search is wider, as she has ties to the Battlefords area, Radisson and the Red Pheasant First Nation.

Anyone who has either seen Kiskotagan, or knows where she might be, are asked to contact Battlefords RCMP, or 310-RCMP or call 911 in an emergency.
