RCMP investigate alleged theft of firearm, equipment near Waseca

RCMP are asking for the public’s help following an alleged theft of a firearm and various tools near Waseca.

Police reported Monday that Maidstone RCMP responded to a report of a theft of a firearm and Stihl equipment on the evening of July 2 at a rural location south of Waseca.

RCMP stated a shed was broken into in the incident and several items were reported stolen including: one Savage, bolt action .17 caliber firearm, with a black composite stock, and a 4-26 power scope; two Stihl chainsaws – one battery powered, one gas, a Stihl hedge trimmer and a Stihl Whipper Snipper grass trimmer.
