Lamb driving force in Vikings playoff win over Souls
It was quite the performance on Thursday night in Saskatoon.
J.T. Lamb proved why he’s the best running back in 3A, as his three first-half rushing touchdowns propelled the North Battleford Comprehensive Vikings to a 49-14 win in the team’s semifinal playoff game against the Evan Hardy Souls.
Lamb also added a fourth quarter rushing score and finished the game with 240 yards on the ground.
“We employed that rushing attack, where I think it was really difficult for Evan Hardy to match up on the line of scrimmage with some of the size we have,” Vikings head coach Mike Humenny said following the win. “J.T. Lamb has been doing it all season long for us. He came out today and was just a beast for us on offence.”
