Three collisions in Battlefords area Wednesday

Battlefords RCMP responded to three separate collisions Wednesday, one involving a pedestrian.

Just after noon on Wednesday there was a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of 18th Ave. and 101st St. in North Battleford, according to a news release.

One vehicle had to be towed from the scene and there were minor injuries reported.

Around the same time a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in Battleford. Police said the pedestrian wasn’t injured and all parties involved were identified.

The driver was charged with driving without due care.

There was then a single-vehicle collision reported at 6:10 p.m. on Highway 16, West of North Battleford.

The driver and passenger both sustained minor injuries but have since been treated and released. The vehicle sustained significant damage and was towed from the scene.
