Unity and Macklin RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance after an early morning fuel theft more than a week ago.

According to a news release, a vehicle entered a storage compound on Guardian St. in Macklin at roughly 4:15 a.m. on Dec. 2, where an undisclosed amount of fuel was stolen.

Video surveillance captured the vehicle, which RCMP describe as a light-coloured, ‘90s-style, four-door Chevrolet Suburban. There were also two suspects seen in the video, but they have not been identified.

RCMP ask anyone with information about this crime to contact Unity RCMP, Macklin RCMP, Wilkie RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
