N.B. crash stops traffic during snowy noon-hour collision

Local first responders offered their assistance Friday when a car and SUV collided at a busy intersection in North Battleford.

The incident happened around 11:45 a.m. near Territorial Drive and Pioneer Avenue during a period of heavy snowfall.

The organization representing Saskatchewan’s rural municipalities is challenging the province to do more to help those affected by Oct. 17 wildfires near Burstall, Empress and Tompkins.

New hires expected to help with bed shortage

The addition of two new psychiatrists to the Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) comes as welcome news to those in the Mental Health and Addictions Department of the Prairie North Health Region (PNHR).
