NBFD battles early Sunday morning blaze

The North Battleford Fire Department were busy early Sunday morning.

At 3:41 a.m., firefighters responded to a structure fire in the 1500 Block of 99th Street.

The residence was occupied when the fire began and everyone inside evacuated safely with no injuries being reported.

The NBFD has said that the fire began in an outside shed and then spread to the house, causing moderate damage.

The NBFD and Saskatchewan RCMP are continuing to investigate.
