Many changes and improvements for NBCK Band Hall
Moving into their 70th anniversary, the North Battleford City Kinsmen Band saw many changes and improvements.
The biggest has to be the facilities in which they run their entire operation. There has been significant improvements to their home, the City Kinsmen Band Hall. The city owned facility is leased out by the NBCK Band, and extensive renovations began in May 2017.
The total cost of the renovations worked out to be around $300,000, and involved the configuration of the rehersal hall, changing windows, lighting, insulation, roof repairs, and paint throughout the inside and outside of the building.
North Battleford City Kinsmen Band Association Inc. President David Dekker said in a news conference this week they’re looking to recover their investment through a fundraising program.
