Former North Star Konowalchuk signs with Colorado NAHL team
Adam Konowalchuk is continuing his hockey career across the border.
The former Battleford North Stars forward announced he has signed with the Grand Junction River Hawks of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) for the 2026-27 campaign, his final year of junior hockey.
Last year, Konowalchuk had 31 points (13 goals, 18 assists) in 52 games in his lone season with the North Stars.
While Konowalchuk said leaving the Battlefords was a hard decision, he believes the move is an opportunity worth taking.
