Accidental fire contained at North Battleford fourplex

The North Battleford Fire Department responded to an accidental early morning fire Monday at a fourplex on the 200 block of 18th Avenue.

The building was occupied when the fire started. One person was assessed by WPD Ambulance at the scene and released without injury.

Fire crews contained the blaze to one room. Officials said there was minor fire damage to the exterior of the unit’s second floor.
