Nov 19, 2025 | 12:15 PM
A quick response by Battlefords RCMP and Police Dog Services led to the arrest of two people after a break and enter earlier this month.
Police were called on Nov. 8 to a home on Meadow Lark Lane, where someone had entered a backyard and gained access to a shed. The suspect or suspects fled after hearing someone come out of the house.
Following further investigation, RCMP Police Dog Services were brought in and located the individuals a short time later. They were arrested without incident.
Two adults from North Battleford are each charged with theft under $5,000 and trespassing at night. Both are scheduled to appear in provincial court on Jan. 19, 2026.
