Saskatchewan RCMP say there is an increased police presence on 110th Street in North Battleford as part of an ongoing investigation.
In a statement issued Monday morning, police asked the public to avoid areas where officers are stationed and to follow any directions they provide.
Mounties did not release further details about the nature of the investigation but said updates will be provided when possible.
“If an imminent risk to public safety is identified, we will notify the public,” the RCMP said in the release.
