Celebrate National Canadian Film Day with Free Screenings of Die Alone across Saskatchewan, including Meadow Lake and Prince Albert

National Canadian Film Day is just around the corner on April 16, and this year’s celebration brings the spotlight home to Saskatchewan.

Organized by Reel Canada, this annual event features free screenings of Canadian films across the country, showcasing the creativity, diversity, and talent of Canadian filmmakers.

We’re thrilled to give a special shout-out to two four Saskatchewan venues that are taking part in this nationwide celebration by screening a homegrown production: the thriller Die Alone – filmed right here in Saskatchewan.

Starring Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix franchise, Memento), and Douglas Smith (Don’t Worry Darling, Big Little Lies), and Frank Grillo (The Purge: Anarchy, Captain America: The Winter Soldier) Die Alone delivers a heart-pounding experience filled with zombies, survivalists, and a gripping storyline that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
