Two teens charged in North Battleford armed home invasion
Two youth are facing charges after a break and enter at a home in North Battleford on Feb. 15.
Battlefords RCMP were called to a house on 108th Street around 4:30 a.m. Police say the suspects kicked in the door, assaulted a resident, and pointed a firearm before fleeing. The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Less than an hour later, RCMP received a report of firearms at a home on 110th Street. Officers responded and arrested two suspects.
After further investigation, a 17-year-old boy from the city is charged with pointing a firearm, break and enter, and assault with a weapon. He appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court on Tuesday.
