Update: Missing Big River teen has been found

Update: RCMP have confirmed that Nanatakapo has been located as of 6:30 p.m., May 11.

Big River RCMP are trying to find an 18-year-old female who went missing from Prince Albert on May 9th. Police described her as vulnerable and said they needed to locate her as soon as possible.

In a media release issued early Friday evening the RCMP said Emma Nanatakapo is a resident of Big River First Nation and it was believed she could be in Prince Albert.

Nanatakapo is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, of slender build with brown eyes and black straight shoulder length hair.
