Ross MacAngus seeks second city council term

Having spent his life in North Battleford, Ross MacAngus, a candidate for the city council, brings two decades of service to the community, focusing on maintaining a safe and clean environment for families.

In his profile, he highlighted his collaboration with different city departments, which he believes has enabled him to gain insights into their functions and needs.

MacAngus was first elected to the city council in 2020, and now he is seeking his second term on Nov. 13 to continue serving the city. In addition to his political career, he is an archery coach. His passion for archery led him to leadership roles on the executive boards of the Archery Canada Association, the Saskatchewan Archery Association, and the local archery club.

“I look forward to working with the residents and city council to make North Battleford the place people are proud of to live and raise a family,” he said in his profile.

Municipal election day is Nov. 13. Other confirmed candidates include Alvin Baptiste, Rodney Fedler, Mercy George, Donald Meriam, Greg (Gregory) Lightfoot, Kent Lindgren, Dennis Mercer, Bill (Thomas) Ironstand, Alan Wiese, Dan Suberlak, Darryl Williams and Warren Williams.
