‘Different perspective’ : Retired City worker Dan Suberlak runs for NB council
A new candidate aims to bring a different perspective to the City of North Battleford council.
“I’ve seen everything about how the city operates from the ground level, and I think it gives a different perspective of how the city operates. It would be very beneficial to bring this to the Council,” Dan Suberlak said.
Suberlak, a recently retired city employee, worked for 32 years in the Parks and Recreation department. He pointed out that residents deserve better value for their tax dollars, as he’s noticed a decline in the city’s service quality.
“People are paying a lot of taxes, and they need to be getting adequate services for their taxes,” he said. “I want to make sure that we have an administration that is accountable to the public.”
