Scene cleared following reports of an armed individual

The scene has been cleared following an incident on the 1,000 block of the 107th Street near the 11th and 12th Avenue area.

Police responded to a call roughly an hour ago regarding an armed individual before finding that person though no firearms were discovered.

The investigation continues and if anyone has information, they are asked to call 310-RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
