19 semi-automatic shotguns stolen in daytime break-in

Nineteen semi-automatic shotguns and one laptop were stolen during a daytime break-and-enter in North Battleford.

A Winchester SPX 12 gauge shotgun, 18 Franchi Affinity 12 gauge shotguns and a Toshiba computer were taken from a home on the 1800 block of 101 St. on Saturday.

Battlefords RCMP said in a press release the home-owners had only been away for about five hours that day.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
