Update: Thomas Cook and Kiefer Linklater were captured in Hall Lake on Monday.

They’re scheduled to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on Thursday.

Two men have escaped the Besnard Lake Correctional Camp and RCMP are still on the lookout for them.

On Sunday around 10:15 p.m., Pinehouse RCMP received a report that two inmates from the facility had escaped. It was determined the men walked away from the camp around 9:10 p.m.

The two men, Thomas Cook and Kiefer Linklater are now charged with escaping lawful custody and being lawfully at large.

Police are not sure if the two are still together. They may have travelled to La Ronge, Pelican Narrows, Prince Albert or Beauval but their current whereabouts are not known.

If you have any information regarding the location of these men, you’re asked to contact Pinehouse RCMP at 306-884-2400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
