Melfort RCMP asking for public’s help finding two stolen trucks

Oct 5, 2023 | 3:51 PM

The Melfort RCMP detachment is hoping the public can help find two pickup trucks that were stolen on Tuesday.

The two vehicle thefts were at separate times and locations, however, police believe they may be connected.

In the early morning of Oct. 3, a black 2003 GMC four-door dually pickup truck with Saskatchewan licence plate 690 MZF was stolen from Tisdale.

The truck was later spotted in Star City by a member of the public and according to RCMP, they think that truck was involved with a second vehicle being stolen in Spalding that same day.

As for the second vehicle, which was stolen from Spalding, it is a red 1998 Dodge Ram regular cab pickup truck with a long box.

Its Saskatchewan licence plate is 468 GSE. It also had a slip tank and toolbox in the bed of the truck.

If anyone sees these vehicles, they are asked to please contact Melfort RCMP at 306-752-6420 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
