A 41-year-old man from Little Pine First Nation is facing several drug and firearm charges.

On Monday morning, Cut Knife RCMP executed a search warrant on a residence on the First Nation as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

There they found six grams of suspected cocaine, four grams of suspected methamphetamine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, an air rifle, and ammunition.

Three men were arrested in the residence, however, two were released without any charges.

The man who wasn’t released has since been charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a firearm when prohibited, possession of a firearm when knowing possession is unauthorized, unsafe storage of a firearm, and failing to comply with a release order condition.

He was scheduled to appear in a North Battleford Provincial Courtroom on Tuesday.
