North Battleford man faces child pornography charges

A 75-year-old man has been charged with two counts of possession of child pornography. The charges come after an investigation by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation unit, known as ICE.
The accused is alleged to have been in possession of child pornography through an online file-sharing program.
The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the Saskatchewan RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service.
On Oct. 12, ICE executed a search warrant at a residence in North Battleford. They seized electronic devices for forensic analysis.
