Preliminary hearing for accused in Moosomin homicide set for November
A preliminary hearing for one of the accused in the Damian Moosomin homicide investigation is now scheduled for this fall.
Stormy Wapass-Semaganis, 24, of Edmonton, Alta., facing a charge of first-degree murder, originally had a preliminary hearing set for June 13 in North Battleford provincial court.
That did not proceed. Instead her case was move to June 20 to be spoken to.
At court Monday, Senior Crown Prosecutor Jennifer Schmidt waived the appearance of Wapass-Semaganis, who was previously released on conditions.
