Battlefords RCMP are investigating an incident where a firearm was reportedly discharged at a vehicle with people inside.
This took place on the 1000 block of 110th Street in North Battleford on early Saturday morning. One of the vehicle’s windows was shattered and the three occupants reported minor injuries from broken glass.
An unidentified male was allegedly seen leaving the area on foot wearing a red sweater and dark pants. Seven occupants of a residence were briefly detained and later released without charges, while one male from a residence was arrested and remanded on unrelated warrants.
Battlefords RCMP are asking anyone with information regarding this investigation to contact the detachment.
