RCMP arrest three adults following vehicle pursuit

Three individuals are in custody following an incident in North Battleford where a male reportedly pointed a firearm at another person.

Police responded to the call around 9 p.m. in the area of the 1300 block of 110 Street Monday evening. The suspect vehicle was located shortly after and after it fled an attempted traffic stop, RCMP members pursued the vehicle to Highway 4 and Willowmore Road, where it entered the ditch.

The three suspects fled on foot, two adult females were quickly arrested and police contained the area after seeing an adult male enter the woods carrying a firearm. Following assistance from multiple units, include Saskatoon Police Service’s Air Unit, the man was taken into custody around 3 a.m.

All three individuals remain in custody at this time and the investigation is still ongoing. Charges have yet to be determined and more information will be provided when they become available.
