North Battleford issues $16.7M in building permits through June
North Battleford issued seven residential building permits in the second quarter, down from 17 a year earlier, while the total value of all building permits fell by $1.33 million.
The city issued 27 permits worth $6.6 million during the quarter, according to its Engineering, Planning, Asset Management and Infrastructure report. That compared with 32 permits valued at $7.93 million during the same period in 2025.
Overall, the number of permits declined by about 16 per cent, while their combined value fell nearly 17 per cent.
The seven residential permits were valued at $1.92 million, down from $2.59 million a year earlier. They consisted of one new dwelling valued at $881,000 and six alteration and repair permits worth a combined $1.04 million.
