City announces new finance director

Jun 15, 2021 | 9:26 AM

The City of North Battleford has a new director of finance.

City Manager Randy Patrick announced at Monday’s council meeting that Brent Nadon has been hired for the position.

Nadon has experience working with the Saskatchewan Health Authority and with the City of Regina— where he led the budget process in the financial services team.

He holds a CPA, CMA, MBA, and a Bachelor of Administration degree in Accounting and Business/Management.

Nadon will start with the City of North Battleford on July 19.

“I will be throwing him right into the budget process, so the Regina experience should come in handy,” Patrick said.

Mayor David Gillan welcomed Nadon, and said council looks forward to meeting him.

Nadon replaces the city’s former finance director, Steve Brown, who left his position earlier this year after being with the city since 2018.
