Province expands COVID-19 vaccine booking eligibility to residents 58 years and older

The Government of Saskatchewan has announced as of Friday, April 2 residents 58 years and older can book an appointment to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

Individuals 50 years and older living in the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District, remaining phase one healthcare workers and those deemed clinically extremely vulnerable are also now eligible.

The previous eligible age was 62 and older.

According to a media release, the next booking update will be announced on April 5.

Only those 58 years and older are eligible to book online at all hours of the day.

If they would rather call in to book an appointment they can do so at 1-833-SASKVAX during the hours of 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

All others who are eligible for the vaccine must call in to book an appointment.
