146 new cases of COVID-19 in the province as total cases exceed 27,000
There are 146 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan as of Feb. 18, bringing the provincial total to 27,099 cases. Recoveries since the beginning of the pandemic are now at 25,221 with 1,516 cases currently considered active.
The new cases in the north are located in the Far North West (seven), Far North Central (10), Far North East (five), North West (15), North Central (seven), North East (10) and one (one) case has pending resident information.
One hundred and seventy-eight people are in hospital. One hundred and fifty-one (151) people are receiving inpatient care: Far North West (three), Far North Central (one), Far North East (one), North West (16), North Central (14), North East (one), Saskatoon (57), Central West (two), Central East (eight), Regina (42), South West (one), South Central (one) and South East (four). Twenty-three people are in intensive care: North West (one), North Central (two), Saskatoon (11), Central East (one), and Regina (eight).
