Light of Christ Catholic School Division (LCCSD) has announced a positive case of COVID-19 in an individual at St. Mary School in North Battleford.
Saskatchewan Health Authority officials informed the division earlier today. LCCSD is working closely with Public Health to inform parents and caregivers as the SHA conducts contact tracing. Students and their families are reminded to be diligent in performing daily health checks, such as monitoring for symptoms and maintaining hand hygiene.
To protect the individual’s privacy, LCCSD will not share or discuss further details. As of January 28, there are 22,646 positive cases of COVID-19 in the province, along with 19,729 recoveries and 268 deaths.
