Preliminary hearing date to be rescheduled for accused connected to Laverdiere death
One of the remaining six accused facing charges related to Tiki Brook-Lyn Laverdiere’s homicide investigation will have his preliminary hearing date changed due to COVID-19 precautions.
Jesse Sangster who is charged with first-degree murder, kidnapping, improperly interfering with a human body and theft of a motor vehicle, originally was to appear for a three-week preliminary hearing starting June 22 at North Battleford Provincial Court.
According to the Saskatchewan Law Courts, the hearing will not proceed at that time. It had to be adjourned due to complications during the COVID-19 pandemic precautions.
