No decision from Rider head coach after Carter’s pot charge
Saskatchewan Roughriders head coach Chris Jones says he’s disappointed by Duron Carter’s legal problems.
The star receiver was charged with possession of marijuana at the Winnipeg airport last November and again at the Saskatoon airport on Feb. 2.
“It was one of those deals where it is kind of like a family member or a close friend gets in a situation like that. I was disappointed,” Jones told reporters by telephone Wednesday.
“I thought we were a bit beyond that sort of thing.”
