One man is in custody after an early morning robbery in North Battleford.

Officers were called to an armed robbery on 11 Ave. and 101 St. at around 6:20 a.m.

A lone male is said to have confronted the victim at a business and demanded they turn over any money they had.

The victim refused and attempted to leave the area and received a minor wound from the assailant in the process.

Police responded and found a 20-year-old man who matched the description provided by the victim. He was arrested without incident and remains in custody.
