RCMP investigating several thefts

Battleford’s RCMP responded to 54 calls for service in the last 24 hours as of 6 a.m. this morning, May 5.

Around 7:55 a.m. yesterday, May 4, officers responded to a vehicle theft which occurred overnight from the 2000 block of 101 St. The vehicle is described as an ’88 Cadillac sedan which is blue and grey.

At 9:22 a.m. the detachment received a report of a theft outside the band office at a First Nations community West of the city. Two black Geo-Tech liner rolls were stolen. Both were 16 feet in length and valued at roughly $1,000 each. The theft remains under investigation.

That afternoon around 1:19 pm. police received a report of a stolen trailer which was taken overnight from the 700 block of 110 St. The trailer is described as a black 2008 utility trailer. The Saskatchewan plate number is 649-HMQ.
