Battleford RCMP investigating two sexual assaults

The Battleford detachment of the RCMP stayed busy over the weekend with officers responding to roughly 194 calls over a 72-hour timeframe.

RCMP are investigating a pair of unrelated sexual assaults on Friday afternoon. One incident occurred at 2 p.m. while the second happened at 2:30 p.m.  

Police also had to deal with six other assaults over the weekend as well as four alcohol-related incidents.

RCMP also arrested the driver of a vehicle involved in a crash on Sunday morning shortly before 9 p.m.
