P.A. man heads for trial for alleged assault on Flying Dust First Nation

Trial dates are now set for a Prince Albert man accused of assaulting a Flying Dust First Nation elder in his home.
Zachary Esau was arrested in mid-April after the complainant went to the RCMP.
Esau is charged with unlawful entry, assault and theft. The alleged victim received minor injuries, was treated in Meadow Lake’s hospital and released shortly after.
After pleading not guilty Esau’s matters were transferred to the Court of Queen’s Bench in North Battleford.
