RCMP foil attempted church break-in in North Battleford; three charged
Three people have been charged after Battlefords RCMP said officers foiled an attempted break-in at a church on Winder Crescent in North Battleford.
Police responded to a report of a possible break-and-enter at about 11:10 p.m. last Tuesday, July 14, arresting five suspects at the scene.
“The suspects did not gain entry to the church and no damage was noted to the building,” investigators said in a release issued Monday.
During searches, officers seized an imitation firearm and other weapons from one adult male, as well as weapons and bear spray from one adult female, RCMP said.
