The first day of the Saskatchewan Junior Golf provincial tournament has wrapped up at The Legends Golf Club in Warman, with the Battlefords well represented near the top of the leaderboard.
North Battleford’s Shae Maunula sat atop the leaderboard after the opening round, finishing at 4-under par to hold a one-stroke lead.
Franklin Arici and Hudson Diederichs, both of Saskatoon, were right behind Maunula after the first round.
