RCMP investigate fatal rollover near Frenchman Butte

A 40-year-old Lloydminster man has died following a single-vehicle rollover near Frenchman Butte.

Onion Lake RCMP said officers responded to a report of the crash on Highway 797 at about 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

The driver, who was the lone occupant of the vehicle, was taken to hospital by EMS but was declared deceased upon arrival.

RCMP, local fire crews and EMS responded to the scene. The investigation is ongoing with assistance from a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
