RCMP investigate threatening phone call to Wilkie school, threat deemed not credible

Unity RCMP continues to investigate after a school in Wilkie received a threatening phone call. 

On May 25 at around 2:20 p.m., RCMP received a report about the threat. Officers immediately responded and thoroughly checked the school.  

Investigators found the phone call did not come from the area and believe the threat was not credible. Schools in the community went into hold and secure, and officers were there to help as students left at the end of the day.
